La Flamenca

In Buenos Aires, a sensitive loner fixates on a unique shade of red she noticed in a painting when she was sixteen. Convinced the colour holds the key to who she is, she withdraws to her late grandmother’s crumbling house with only a caged bird, a taciturn gardener and thirty-eight notebooks for company. Night after night she hunts the hue—cataloguing lipstick smears, blood drops, burning leaves—until her own voice fuses with that of the painting’s long-dead creator.

As art and body blur, the quest slides toward possession, and she must decide whether to dissolve into the colour or re-enter the world it once promised. A hypnotic diary-driven tale of obsession, isolation and the price of extreme sensibility.
