Josefina Licitra

(Born in La Plata, 1975) is a journalist and writer. She is the author of Los imprudentes. Historias de la adolescencia gay lésbica en Argentina (Tusquets), Los otros. Una historia del conurbano bonaerense (Debate), and El agua mala. Crónica de Epecuén y las casas hundidas (Aguilar). Her chronicles have been featured in several genre anthologies. She writes for both national and international outlets, including The New York Times en Español, Piauí magazine (Brazil), and El Mercurio newspaper (Chile). She is the editor of Orsai, a narrative magazine. In 2004, she received the Best Text Award from the Foundation for New Ibero-American Journalism, then led by Gabriel García Márquez.
