
Lima, Peru. He holds an MA in Creative Writing from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and an MA in Advanced Studies in Spanish and Latin American Literature from the International University of La Rioja, Spain, with a thesis focused on the work of Oswaldo Reynoso.
He is the author of the novel El amor es un perro que ruge desde los abismos (Planeta, 2021) and the essay Narrativa mesiánica: animes al rescate de la ficción (Fondo Editorial UCV, 2024). He has also published the short story collection Quien golpea primero golpea dos veces (2020) and the study Una galaxia pop llamada One Piece (2025).
His books have been published in Chile, Spain, and Argentina. His journalistic piece “Pachamanca: el fuego en la piedra” was selected by Granta magazine and anthologized by the Spanish publisher Col&Col as one of the best Spanish-language gastronomic nonfiction texts of 2023.
As a journalist, he has contributed to RPP Noticias, La República, El Comercio, and Canal N. His work has also appeared in magazines such as Jot Down, Granta, Buensalvaje, and Caretas. In 2015, he won the Premio Narrador Joven del Perú.
