Isabel Botero

Born in Medellín in 1976, she is a social communicator and journalist with master’s degrees in Screenwriting for Film and Television and in Creative Writing. She has worked as a screenwriter, university professor, and audiovisual producer.

She is the author of several works of narrative journalism, and her writing has been featured in various anthologies and publications. In 2018, she won the Unpublished Short Story Collection Prize awarded by the Medellín City Hall for Vine a buscar el desierto (I Came in Search of the Desert, Seix Barral, 2019). Her novel Edificio Wolf (Wolf Building) was published in 2023 by Seix Barral.
