Synopsis:

Bruno Guerrero is still navigating adolescence when the streets decide who gets to be human. Living in poverty, anxious, and desperate for belonging, he moves between petty hustles and floats in the orbit of organized crime, trying to stay loyal without getting swallowed up. His one private refuge is Salomé, a trans girl from the neighborhood. Her transition and dreams of a future beyond the barrio open a space of tenderness, desire, and truth that Bruno has never experienced. Their intimacy is fragile in a world built on hatred. When Salomé is executed at her own door, the loss hardens Bruno into someone who can “breathe like the wolves.” Years down the line, even as he continues to rise through criminal ranks, her memory remains his irreparable debt.   Parallel to Bruno’s moral descent, Moisés, his closest friend, transforms into a charismatic preacher. He establishes the prison-born Saudade Congregation, where scripture becomes command and belonging becomes obedience. Working under the boss Atila and, crucially, his strategist daughter Zafiro, the organization stops being a mere business and becomes a doctrine with a map. Zafiro makes the next move, sending Moisés to Brazil, where Pastor Ferreira builds a criminal theocracy in a favela dubbed the New Jerusalem. The wolves are no longer local. They are a transnational pack with a gospel.
