Told through an old woman’s letter to her descendants, The German Script follows Klara, a Jewish girl living under the tightening grip of Nazi
rule, and Daniel Brim, whose natural talent for “German words” becomes a weapon for survival.
Introduced by a mutual friend, their bond deepens as the ghetto collapses into hunger, raids, and betrayal. Daniel trudges through prisons and
camps, learning accents, commands, and codes while clinging desperately to his humanity. After an uprising, Klara and Daniel hide in sewers and emerge
into the chilling indifference of the so-called “Aryan” city, finally managing to escape with forged papers
