The Embassy

On November 4, 2019, as Chile’s social uprising echoes in London, Iñaki Eyzaguirre arrives at the Chilean embassy under the guise of an appointment. In reality, he seeks to unravel a family mystery shadowed by suicide. Inside, the building becomes a theater of privilege: diplomatic aristocracy, inherited influence, and an intellectual circle where literature and politics intertwine. Metafictional “manufactured” scenes collapse time, introducing an English figure linked to contemporary royalty and a Chilean classic writer. Outside the embassy walls, a takeover escalates the pressure, turning personal ghosts into public catastrophe
