A thirteen-year-old girl is best friends with the daughter of a navy officer. As an adult, she looks back on their bond and on the time in which it flourished: Argentina’s military dictatorship. The 1970s return through vivid memories of what unquestionably happened, but also through attempts to reconstruct the past from emotional memory—and recover what had once seemed lost forever from that era and that friendship.
