A Bittersweet Love

One Saturday in the middle of the night, Amadeus, the chef at Nina’s restaurant, receives the news that Amelia, the niece of Roland, the owner of Nina’s and Amadeus’ partner, will work there as a cook. Although it’s always helpful to have another pair of hands in the kitchen, there are two reasons
Amadeus isn’t happy about the new hire: for one thing, Amelia’s arrival is unexpected, and for another thing, Amadeus cannot stand her, nor can she tolerate him. Even though Ronald knows that Amadeus is not pleased with this decision, he has no option but to offer Amelia a job at Nina’s because she’s his niece and like a daughter to him.

As for Amelia, after watching a movie and scarfing an entire pizza, she finds out she’ll be the new chef at her uncle’s restaurant. It’s been years since she saw Amadeus, and she’s not interested in exchanging words with
him after such a long time apart. Sure, they were friends once, but now they’re enemies and will be coworkers. She’s a master chef, too, but for now, she must settle for being a mere sous chef in the enemy camp.
